李守白，1962年出生于上海，籍贯浙江上虞，擅长绘画和剪纸。现为中国民协剪纸艺术委员会副主席，中华文化促进会剪纸艺术委员会副主任，上海市人大代表、上海市文联副主席、上海民间文艺家协会主席、上海市美术家协会会员、上海市工艺美术大师、上海华东师大、上海工艺美院客座教授。“非遗”海派剪纸代表性传承人、上海守白文化艺术有限公司创始人兼艺术总监。40多年来创作和发表了1000多幅艺术作品，其创作的上海城市题材作品为当代海派艺术注入了新的活力，被媒体誉为“上海石库门先生”。作品先后在法国、德国、奥地利、古巴、澳大利亚、新加坡、日本、北京、上海、广州等国内外多地举办展会和参展，连续17年参展上海艺术博览会，作品摘取包括中国民间文艺“山花奖”、中国文化部“文化遗产日奖”在内的10多个金奖。先后被授于中国“德艺双馨 剪纸艺术大师”、上海市“德艺双馨文艺工作者”、“上海市领军人才”、“上海市优秀中青年艺术家”等称号。作品被中国剪纸博物馆、上海美术馆收藏委员会、上海城市规划展示馆、上海大剧院画廊、美国星巴克企业管理有限公司、中信泰富广场有限公司等世界多国机构和私人收藏家收藏。

Li Shoubai (李守白) b. 1962, Shanghai

Chinese contemporary artist, sculptor and paper cutting master. He began learning painting from his father at the age of 6, and later continued his studies under the renowned Chinese painter Lin Ximing (林曦明), before attending and graduating from the Shanghai Art and Design Academy.

Li Shoubai holds several positions on the main associations and organizations that promote fine and liberal arts in Shanghai, including Vice-Chairman of Shanghai Federation of Literature and Art Circle, Chairman of the Shanghai Folk Literature and Art Association, Committee Member CPPCC National Committee of Shanghai, Vice-Director of the Paper Cutting Committee of the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association, Representative leading figure for the intangible cultural heritage-- Haipai Paper Cutting, Guest Professor of East China Normal University and Shanghai Art & Design Academy, and Founder and Art Director of Shanghai Shoubai Cultural & Art Co.,Ltd..

Following his own motto "innovation originates from self discovery", he continues to experiment with new media and different styles, while at the same time devoting his career to the protection and preservation of Shanghai and China's intangible cultural heritage.

During his forty years' artistic career, he created more than 1000 masterpieces and held or participated in more than 40 exhibitions held in Paris, Hamburg, Vienna, Singapore, Japan, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and so on, including the Shanghai Art Fair 17 times. He won more than 10 gold awards such as "China Cultural Heritage" entitled by China Ministry of Culture. His artworks are part of national and international collections such as the Shanghai Museum of Fine Arts, Shanghai City Planning Exhibition Hall, Paper Cutting Museum of China, CITIC Square, Lettera 27 Milan, Shanghai Grand Theatre Gallery, Licht Ins Dunkel Austrian Organization, Sino-Dutch Friendship Association, and Starbucks Management Headquarters.
