插屏为古代陈设于厅堂案头的小屏风，由屏风、边框和插座三部分组成，往往小巧精美，具有很高的艺术鉴赏价值。此件插屏底座、边框及屏风外框皆用珍稀的紫檀木为材制作，屏风为白玉材质，正面浮雕仙人故事图案，背面刻般若波罗蜜多心经，刻字严谨，颇显功力。整体造型独特，材质珍贵，玉质白晰细腻，光泽莹润。如此大料非常难得。其工艺卓绝且品相一流，包浆沉厚古雅，雕工生动富有立体感，值得收藏。 Qing Dynasty period. Of rectangular form， the screen finely carved in relief to depict various immortals and arhats bring tribute gifts within a landscape of rocky ledges， pine trees， pavillions， and lake， the reverse finely inscribed with classical Buddhist text‘Heart Sutra’in regular script calligraphy， all supported on a finely carved zitan stand. The jade stone is of smoothly polished white jade tone. |
