夏星

　　夏星（1958—）北京人。1988年毕业于中央美术学院靳尚谊工作室，现为职业画家。1991年结业于法国写实主义画家克劳德·依维尔油画材料技法研究班。曾参加“国际青年美展”、“中国油画精品展”等海内外大型展览。作品《鸽子》获国际青年美展铜奖。2005年加入中国写实画派。
　　在当今的写实画中，最不可去掉和折省的语汇基础，便是始于西方近代科学的由镜头所记录和表达出来的带着当代极强的务实精神的客观语言。现代性疏远了人文精神，务实的活法又使人毫无幻想。这是我对写实画中基础的客观语言从崇尚到远离的真正的理由。我想起去年的一位画家前辈，在其妻有孕时家厅正壁上匾画一“美人像”，曰，妻平日养眼，娠时必得媚丽千金。照我看，这法子才是写实画中之正法。重视编撰，轻视写生，强调幻想的感觉，去掉明暗远离镜头，宣扬“人文”的态度。这才是中国的新的写实主义的方法。
　　Born in Beijing. In 1979 Studied painting under the guidance Jin Shanvi who latter became president of the Central Academy. In 1984 Entered the oil painting department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts， Beijing. In 1985 Painting Dove received third prize from the Art Exhibition to Celebrate the Year of the Youth， China Art Gallery， Beijing. In 1988， Graduate work Border was collected by The Gallery of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and essay Chanting at the Border was published in Beijing Youth and the Contemporary Chinese Life Painting， Huayi Publishing House. In 1989， Painting Lake exhibited in The Best of Chinese Oil Painting in Tokyo， Japan. In 1990 Paintings Day Bed， Windy Season， Growing Up， Holiday Without Rain， Falling Down， and Portrait of Wang Yang acquired by Japanese collectors. In 1991 Completed course in advance oil painting technique courses under the guidance of French realist painter Claude Ewell. In 1992 Painting September and Nude collected by the Ford Foundation； painting Your Fortune in the Year of Goat participated in Great Wall Art Festival. Beijing； painting Little Fenxian and Summer Skin Tonic participated in Famous Names in Chinese Oil Paintings， Cosmic Building Gallery， Singapore. In 1993 Painting Your Fortune in the Year of Goat participated in the Inaugural Exhibition. Schoeni Art Gallery. Hong Kong； painting Eternal Desire participated in Art Asia ’93 Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre， Hong Kong； painting North Face South participated in the 100th Aniversary of Man， Overseas Chinese Artists’ Association， New York.
